What are giftcards?
Giftcards let your guests give your sessions as a gift. The recipient receives a unique code they can redeem on your booking page. The balance is then available when they book one of your sessions.
Who can sell giftcards?
Giftcards are available for Pro plan partners only. If you are on a Basic or Listing plan, upgrade to Pro to enable giftcards.
How to enable online giftcard sales
- Go to your public page (your partner profile)
- Click the Giftcard settings link (or go to
/partner/your-slug/giftcards/settings) - Toggle Sell giftcards on
- A giftcard tile will now appear on your public page
Your Stripe account must be connected for online giftcard payments to work.
Creating giftcards manually (POS)
You can also create giftcards in person, for example at the front desk:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Open Point of Sale
- Choose Giftcard as the item type
- Enter the amount and optionally a recipient name
- The system generates a unique code you can print or share
POS-created giftcards work the same as online-purchased ones.
Where guests find your giftcards
Once enabled, a "Give [your name] as a gift" tile appears on your public page. Guests can also access it directly via /partner/your-slug/giftcards.
How a guest buys a giftcard
- Guest chooses an amount (preset or custom, from 5 to 500)
- Guest fills in their name and email
- Guest adds an optional personal message
- Guest chooses delivery: email directly to recipient, or send the code themselves
- Payment via Stripe (card or iDEAL)
- Buyer receives a receipt email with the giftcard code
- If email delivery was chosen, the recipient also receives a gift email with a redeem button
How a recipient redeems a giftcard
- Recipient clicks the redeem link in their email, or goes to
/giftcards/redeem - They log in or create an account
- They enter the giftcard code
- The balance is attached to their account for your studio
- When they book a session, the giftcard balance is shown at checkout and can be applied
Important notes
- Each giftcard has a unique code (4 letters + 4 digits, e.g. ABCD-1234)
- Giftcards are provider-bound: they can only be used for your sessions, not at other studios
- A giftcard can only be claimed once by one account
- The balance does not expire unless you set an expiration
- Payments go directly to your connected Stripe account
