Availability and overrides

Regular availability

Regular availability defines your standard weekly schedule. For each room, you set which days and hours it is available for bookings. This repeats every week automatically.

Date-specific overrides

Overrides let you make exceptions to your regular schedule for specific dates. Use overrides when you want to:

  • Block a date: Close a room for holidays, maintenance, or private events
  • Open a date: Make a room available outside regular hours for special occasions

How overrides are applied

When a guest views availability for a specific date:

  1. The system first checks for any overrides on that date
  2. If an override exists, it takes precedence over regular availability
  3. If no override exists, regular weekly availability applies

Setting availability

  1. Go to your Location
  2. Select a Room
  3. Use the weekly grid to set regular hours
  4. Use the override form to add date-specific exceptions

Common issues

If you encounter an error when adding overrides, make sure you have selected a valid date and that the room is properly saved. The date field is required for all overrides.
