What are 1:1 appointments?
1:1 appointments are private sessions between you and a single guest. These work the same way as group sessions in ENSŌ—using the offering and timeslot system—but with a capacity of 1.
Setting up a 1:1 offering
- Go to Session Admin and create a new Offering
- Set the title (e.g., "Private Yoga Session", "Therapist Consultation")
- Add your description and category
- Set the duration (typically 30, 45, or 60 minutes)
- Set capacity to 1
- Add your pricing
- Save the offering
Scheduling 1:1 timeslots
- Go to the Timeslots tab
- Click "Add timeslot" and select your 1:1 offering
- Choose the date and start time
- Select the room or location (or online)
- Set attendance mode (in-person, online, or hybrid)
- Optionally add a note like "Personal session"
- Save the timeslot
Using availability and overrides
Your 1:1 appointment slots still follow your room's availability settings. For example:
- If a room is available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, guests can only book 1:1 slots within those hours
- Use overrides to block times when you are unavailable (vacation, sick, etc.)
- Create specific timeslots only for hours you want to accept bookings
Managing multiple 1:1 offerings
Create separate offerings for different types of appointments:
- "30-minute consultation" at €25
- "60-minute session" at €45
- "Follow-up appointment" at €30
Each offering can have its own pricing, description, and duration.
Online 1:1 appointments
For virtual sessions, set the attendance mode to "Online" or "Hybrid" when creating your timeslot. Add your video meeting URL (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) and any join instructions. Guests receive these details in their confirmation email after booking.
Capacity and buffer times
Because 1:1 appointments have capacity 1, only one guest can book each timeslot. ENSŌ prevents overbooking automatically. You can also set buffer times between appointments to allow for breaks.
Payments and pricing
Price your 1:1 appointments just like any other session. You can:
- Set a standard price for the offering
- Override the price for specific timeslots (e.g., premium slots at different hours)
- Accept payment through class packs or subscriptions if clients prepay
