Offerings vs timeslots

What is an Offering?

An Offering is the template for a session. It contains the core information that stays the same each time you run it:

  • Session title and description
  • Category (Yoga, Fitness, Mindfulness, etc.)
  • Default duration and capacity
  • Pricing tiers
  • Hero image

What is a Timeslot?

A Timeslot (or Schedule) is a specific instance of an Offering. It defines when and where a session actually happens:

  • Date and time
  • Which room it takes place in
  • Who is teaching (instructor assignment)
  • Attendance mode (in-person, online, or hybrid)

Example

You might have an Offering called "Morning Yoga" that you schedule:

  • Every Monday at 7:00 in Room A
  • Every Wednesday at 7:00 in Room B
  • Every Friday at 8:00 in Room A

Each of these is a separate Timeslot, but they all share the same Offering details.

Managing in Session Admin

The Session Admin page has two tabs:

  • Offerings: Your library of session templates
  • Timeslots: All scheduled instances across all offerings
